Use ProofMEM from agents.

ProofMEM exposes a REST API and an MCP HTTP adapter for tool discovery and tool calls. Public GitHub material covers docs, SDK examples, provider examples, local demo, and community-safe core.

Licensing split

Community-safe core and examples: Apache-2.0. Hosted SaaS, billing automation, managed appliance tooling, license enforcement, and support automation: commercial/proprietary.

Connect with an API key

During the beta, connect with a key: sign in, open API keys in the console, create one, and give it to your client. The MCP endpoint is https://proofmem.com/mcp.

Claude Code (terminal or VS Code)

Run once; --scope user makes the memory available in every project.

Codex

Add this to ~/.codex/config.toml. It names the variable that holds the key; the key itself stays out of the file.

Then set the key. On macOS or Linux, add this line to ~/.zshrc or ~/.bashrc and open a new terminal (restart VS Code if Codex runs there):

In Windows PowerShell (it sets the key for this window and for new ones; restart VS Code if Codex runs there):

HTTP MCP adapter

Expose `/mcp` only through explicit Apache or Caddy routing to `api/mcp/index.php`. The public webroot remains `public/`.

Durable save/recall

`persistent_save` and `persistent_recall` handle long-lived semantic and procedural memory.

Scratch and episodic

`scratch_set`, `scratch_get`, `episodic_log`, and `episodic_recall` cover active work and session history.

Learning loop

`feedback_file` and `proposal_create` keep memory correction human-reviewed.
